I'm originally from Chicago, born and raised. I received a B.A. in Business in Tennessee, and I've taught grades K thru 12 in several Nashville Public Schools since 1999. I would describe my personality as ambitious and outgoing. Definitely a Type A, and a true Aries! lol I'm very driven to succeed and confident in what I believe, what I know, and what I can do...Because faith without works is dead! I'm 6' 2" 220 lbs, and a full-time single father of two adorable children, a beautiful daughter and a handsome son...My greatest and most important accomplishments! They are the purpose which gives that much more meaning to my existence. I've raised them to be outstanding and productive individuals, despite the lack of support and the backbone of a good woman!

For a first date and our first public outing together I would definitely make the date a memorable event. Having said that...It really doesn't matter where we go or what we do, rather it be having dinner at nice restaurant with ambience, live music, good food, and conversation or something more interactive like bowling or go-cart riding...As long as we have an enjoyable, fun-filled and blessed evening ;-)

I prefer a woman that's considerate, understanding and never condescending. I love to laugh and I'm a comic in my own right, so she has to have a good sense of humor. As an Aries, I have a tendency to "ram" or act on impulse on occassion, so I need a lady who can go with the flow. She must be secure in her own situation, career-minded, and knows what she wants in life.
