As the headline tells, I am an eclectic woman with almost half-century of wisdom spanning a variety of subjects. In spite (or perhaps because of) this accumulated knowledge I choose to remain active in martial arts and other forms of fitness such as hiking, fencing and skating (ice or roller). I am also an Active Reservist doing my duty for God and Country while upholding a long standing family tradition of military service. At the same time, I am an accountant (that's secret code for "Nerd"). Yes, I was one of the original owners of the pocket protector and TI-55 programmable calculator which predates any of the data storage units currently in use today and yes, I actually understand Sheldon (Big Bang Theory) when he speaks of Higgs-Bozon particles and I can actually follow the logic behind Spencer Reed (Criminal Minds) when he rambles. Don't let the term fool you though. We Nerds have other sides to us that most people never have a clue existed. I love live theater, museums, poetry & music (classical, jazz, rock and some I cant even classify - like Enigma and Kitaro). I enjoy quiet evenings at home and sitting on the porch facing the green belt while soaking in all the smells and sounds of the "woods" behind the house and I am a dog person - not the tiny rodent-like things than many in San Antonio refer to as "dogs" but real DOGS. I have an old black lab (Scooby) and a young lab/chow (Boomer) both of whom were strays.
I would love to meet a man who is mature and in shape; somebody who is loving and honest and respectful; someone who can be aggressive when needed and passionate too; someone who can enjoy holding hands, caressing or just lying in the grass and star gazing. Am I asking for too much? Only time will tell.

A warm cup of Starbucks vanilla cappuccino to break the ice followed by dinner and a movie or the dinner-theater (even better). After that a nice walk along the River-walk or along the trails of Breckenridge park (over by the zoo) where we can discuss what we thought of the movie and learn more about each other.

J'ai toujours voulu essayer

Sky-diving (I know. I am terribly scared of heights too), Skinny-dipping (never had a lake to dip in) and Fishing. Not that I have never been fishing - I have never learned to catch fish...at least nobody ever caught any fish while our family went fishing while growing up in New Mexico. To this day, I call it "camping" because I cant justify calling it "fishing" if no fish are ever caught.
