The first thing I look for is honesty, because honesty is the basis for building trust. If you're honest with me, I'll be honest with you. I can be brutally honest, so if you ask me if I like something, I'm not going to be polite and say "yes" just because I think you might be offended or turned off. And if I like something, I'm not going to be coy. I'll say I like it or I love it. And I look for the same in others. Also, I don't like when someone says they'll do something then doesn't. If you're not going to call me or take my call, just say so. Don't exchange phone numbers with me unless you really want to continue getting to know each other. Just say "You're nice" or you don't like me because I don't (smoke or have money), and we'll never have to speak again. I tend to be attracted to younger women (40-50) who have grown children (or no kids) but there are always exceptions to that. I like women with dogs more than I like women with cats (no offense). And smoking (anything) is definitely out. I'm too old to start a family, so someone who can't or doesn't want to is preferable. And I'm open to alt lifestyles, i.e. open relationships, bi-curious women, etc. I'm much more interested in a good mind than a great body. Both would be perfect!
